The Tennessee Volunteers are gearing up for an exciting 2026 football season, with the SEC recently announcing game times and TV windows for their key matchups. Fans can look forward to a thrilling lineup of games, including a highly anticipated showdown against the Texas Longhorns.
The Volunteers will kick off their SEC schedule with a noon ET matchup against Texas on September 26 at the iconic Neyland Stadium. This game will be broadcast on either ABC or ESPNsetting the stage for what promises to be an electrifying season opener.
The Volunteers’ SEC Showdowns
The Volunteers will face off against some of the SEC’s toughest competitors, with five of their conference games slated for flex TV slots. These matchups include:

These flex games will have kickoff times set between 3:30-4:30 p.m. or 6-8 p.m.with the exact times to be announced later.
