The Role: Crafting Compelling Celebrity Content

In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for prioritizing breaking news and series, making editorial decisions, and utilizing analytics software like Parsley to identify high-potential videos. Your ability to anticipate big stories and work efficiently under pressure will be crucial. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Producer, assist in video production, and contribute to brainstorming sessions. Knowledge of video platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter is essential, as is the ability to write and refine scripts that captivate audiences.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have a thorough understanding of studio and control room operations, with at least five years of experience in production and scripting. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere for basic video editing is required. Experience in a state-of-the-art, fast-paced live control room environment is a significant advantage. Familiarity with tools like Airtable, WordPress, Parsley, and JW Player CMS will be beneficial. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and a team player who can work quickly under pressure and manage multiple videos throughout the day.

Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic are essential. You must be comfortable working non-traditional hours, including holidays, nights, and major events. This role requires a five-day workweek in the office, with an expected duration of 4-5 months, subject to change based on business needs.
