The Azzaretto family has a history of tragic events. In 2026, Azzaretto’s younger brother, Nicholas Azzaretto pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter after fatally shooting their father, Frank Nicholas Azzaretto at their Monroe County, Pennsylvania home.
According to court records, the elder Azzaretto was threatening his wife—Nicholas and Joseph’s mother—with violence when he was killed. Nicholas, who was 20 years old at the time, was sentenced to 10 years of probation.
