Ugandan Socialites Zahara Totto and Prima Kardashi to Settle Feud in Boxing Match

From reality TV tension to real-life boxing bout, Zahara Totto and Prima Kardashi are set to face off in the ring

Ugandan Socialites Zahara Totto and Prima Kardashi to Settle Feud in Boxing Match

The world of Ugandan entertainment is abuzz with the latest development in the ongoing feud between socialites Zahara Totto and Prima Kardashi. What began as on-screen rivalry on the reality TV show Kampala Crème has now spilled over into real life, culminating in an announcement of a celebrity boxing match organized by the Uganda Boxing Federation.

The incident that sparked this dramatic turn of events occurred on the sidelines of the Uganda Boxing Champions League fight night at the Lugogo Indoor Arena on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The two socialites, who were present as VIP guests and prize presenters, found themselves in a heated argument that quickly escalated into a physical altercation.

The Incident at Lugogo Indoor Arena

Witnesses reported that the disagreement started as a verbal confrontation before turning physical. Videos circulating on social media showed the pair exchanging blows in the VIP section, drawing attention away from the boxing matches inside the ring. Security personnel and members of their entourages swiftly intervened, preventing any serious injuries.

The altercation briefly overshadowed the main event, which was headlined by a bout between Regan Magumba and Reagan Lubega Canelo. The Uganda Boxing Federation has not yet issued a statement regarding the incident, and it remains unclear whether any disciplinary measures will be taken against the involved parties.

The Feud and Its Origins

The confrontation at the Lugogo Indoor Arena is not an isolated incident but rather the latest chapter in a long-running public rivalry between Totto and Kardashi. Both women are prominent figures in Uganda’s entertainment and social scene and have previously appeared together on Kampala Crème where their tensions have often been a central part of the show’s storyline.

Social media users have offered various explanations for the dispute, with some suggesting it reflects an ongoing personal disagreement, while others speculate that the incident could have been amplified by their reality television rivalry. However, no evidence has emerged to support claims that the altercation was staged.

The Road to the Boxing Ring

Following the incident, both Totto and Kardashi have expressed their eagerness to settle their differences in the boxing ring. Zahara Totto, known for her combative nature in the media industry, stated, “I am a fighter, and people know that. Since joining the media industry, I have always stood my ground. I’m here to show Prima what I can do.”

Prima Kardashi, on the other hand, aims to silence her rival, saying, “I am here to silence Zahara Toto because she talks a lot. I’m looking forward to our fight.” The Uganda Boxing Federation president, Moses Muhangi hopes that this match will popularize fighting in the ring rather than on social media, following the trend of celebrity fights gaining popularity in recent times.

The upcoming boxing match is not the first of its kind in Uganda. Earlier this year, singer Rickman knocked out fellow singer Grenade in a similar event, and most recently, socialite and Zari Hassan’s husband Shakib participated in a celebrity boxing match.

As the anticipation builds, fans and critics alike are watching closely to see how this real-life showdown will unfold. Will it be a display of athletic prowess or a continuation of their on-screen drama? Only time will tell.
